I have been writing since before I could really write. In my first journal entry, I spelled only my name correctly. The diary cover was designed from the movie The Secret Garden and as a 4-year-old, I loved looking at the pictures. I can remember feeling guilty for writing on the pages. Maybe that is why I only wrote on two of them.
Many journals later, I am still writing, but without good reason. Habit? Therapy? Fear of memory loss? I am not really sure, but I enjoy it.
I recently moved from Tennessee to New York City, so I offer a Southern perspective on the concrete jungle. Enjoy.
