Taking a break.

Last weekend I went home with one of my roommates to Connecticut. She is from a beautiful small town by the beach. It was nice spending a few days in a house with a family, home cooked meals, and pets (not to mention the beach). I guess I didn’t realize how much I had missed those things.

A few days ago, I was having dinner in an Italian restaurant and saw a familiar face. Remember the adorable girl from the Pepsi commercials, the movie Paulie, and Bicentennial Man? Well it was her. Hallie Kate Eisenburg, her brother Jessie Eisenburg, and their parents. I was seated at the table next to them. It was cute seeing the little celebrity family spending Father’s Day together.

Speaking of Father’s Day, I was fortunate enough to actually see my dad. My brother and I set up a video chat so I could talk to my dad in person (sort of).

Sorry for such a short post. I am exhausted by the end of each day, which means I should probably start joining my co-workers for those afternoon iced lattes.
